Charlene B. Kirtley Memorial Scholarship Fund for Undergraduate Students of Accounting or Finance

This scholarship fund was established in honor of Charlene Kirtley, a devoted AFWA member, to promote the field of accounting and support students studying accounting and finance.  Charlene's daughter, Cathy Young, carries on the legacy today so that the AFWA-Phoenix Chapter can help carry out the mission of the Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance by helping enable women in all accounting and related fields to achieve their full personal, professional and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession. (and the scholarship is not limited to just women, AFWA is proud to welcome male and female members and applicants).
